What To Expect
The most unique aspect of Casa Tocoton’s tea ceremony experience is that it offers an authentic yet approachable way to enjoy tea culture.
Casa Tocoton is a 104-year-old traditional Japanese house in Ikuno Ward, Osaka. Unlike a typical tea room, the experience takes place in a renovated home, making it a more familiar and relaxed setting.
Led by experienced tea masters, this casual tea ceremony is designed so that you can continue enjoying tea even after returning to your home country. If you’ve been curious about the tea ceremony but felt hesitant due to strict rules like no photography or the need to sit in seiza (traditional kneeling position), this is the perfect experience for you!
