What To Expect
Learn the basics of the tea ceremony and make your own matcha tea bowl in a double workshop in Osaka.
Prepare tea with a tea ceremony master and make a matcha tea bowl with a ceramist.
Meet your tea ceremony masters and learn about the traditional Japanese art of the tea ceremony.
Prepare tea with their guidance and enjoy the matcha tea and Japanese sweets that accompany it.
Then, make a matcha tea bowl with Anna, a ceramist who studied pottery in Osaka and Barcelona.
Shape and decorate the bowl using traditional Japanese pottery techniques.
Take home a small dish as a gift, which you can use to enjoy sweets for tea ceremony at home.
After the workshop, explore the local area of Ikuno Ward in Osaka.
